Kill Procrastination Instead of Killing Time
Manage Time or Time Will Manage You
By John L. Mason

The most important moment in your life is right now. Avoid letting hesitation and procrastination keep you from your destiny. Procrastination is the ability to keep up with yesterday.

Be jealous of your time; it’s your greatest treasure. Ideas have a short self life – that’s why we must act before the expiration date. "Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there," says Arthur Godfrey.

Putting off a simple thing makes it hard. Putting off a hard thing makes it impossible. Discouragement always follows a decision to delay action.

Today is the day to start. What most people need is an alarm clock that rings when it’s time to rise to the occasion.

Procrastination is the grave in which opportunity is buried. Anybody who brags about what he is going to do tomorrow probably did the same thing yesterday.

Few things are more dangerous to a person’s character than having nothing to do and plenty of time in which to do it.

Killing time isn’t murder; it’s suicide. It’s a sure-fire way to kill the dream inside of you. Two things rob people of their peace of mind: work unfinished and work not yet begun.

Opportunity is often lost in the deliberation. "Good resolutions are like babies crying in church; they should be carried out immediately," says Charles M. Sheldon.

Tackle any difficulty at first sight, for the longer you gaze at it the bigger it becomes. The lazier a person is, the more he’s going to do tomorrow.

The tragedy of life isn’t that it ends so soon but that we wait so long to begin living it.
