4MATIC ALL WHEEL DRIVE: 4MATIC with 4-wheel Electronic Traction System (4-ETS). Hard to find. This option cost almost $3,000 when new!

4MATIC features a permanent 35/65 front/rear torque split through a center differential. 35 percent of the torgue drives the front wheels at all times. 4-ETS monitors speed of all four wheels to detect wheel slip, then applies individual brakes as needed to provide the effect of locking the front, rear and/or center differentials, and/or reduces excess engine power.

The Extended Warranty is purchased before the car is offered for sale. It attaches to the Vehicle Identification Number. The Extended Warranty is then assigned to the new owner.

The Extended Warranty (Vehicle Service Agreement) will provide your ASE Certified mechanic or dealer a direct credit card payment to repair or replace any of the covered parts if required due to mechanical breakdown. A wallet card is included to show your mechanic before repairs.

The Extended Warranty is backed by an insurance company whose financial strength is rated "A-" (excellent) by A.M. Best.

The purpose of the Extended Warranty is to protect you against the failure of major components and to pay the cost of major repairs.

You must maintain the car according to the manufacturer's maintenance schedule. You must pay a $100 deductible for covered repairs.

You are required to pay for all scheduled maintenance. You are required to pay for normal wear and tear (such as brake pads, battery, etc). This is not a maintenance contract. But it does protect you for all major repairs of listed parts.
