A Child's Look at God's Law |

Even a child can understand God’s commands. Failure to obey reveals sin, and shows the need for Jesus as Savior. The law of God is the measure of righteousness. A seven year-old girl was given a Sunday school assignment: Write the ten commandments in your own words (Exodus 20). Not by coincidence, her name is Keri Prophet. Her child-like faith… 1. I will serve God before anyone else. 2. I will not draw or think of a picture of Jesus or the Angel. 3. I will not use God’s name badly. 4. I will worship God on the Sabbath all day. 5. I will respect and obey my parents. 6. I will not kill anyone. 7. If I ever get married I will not go with another man. 8. I will not take anyone’s things without asking. 9. I will not lie. 10. I will not want what is unlawful.
